We have our 10th Whisky Fair in Limburg going on today and tomorrow. The city is crowded like hell. Inside the fair burning hot and thousands of people. A very high noise level. Too loud for me to relax with a fine whisky from Scotland or so. Some of the brands did have a very strange marketing concept. Gas masks! Okay. Maybe a good idea … but at a German booth? That could go in the wrong direction. However, I bought a 25 year old Talisker, went outside and watched the busy people and activities on the market.
