Oliver is also working as a photo journalist. He photographed athletes to place them to scale for their sponsors. Since 2014 he is the team photographer of the German National Para Cycling Team. Having documented last years the UCI Road World Championships in Greenville/SC in the USA for this top athlete team, he also accompanied the national team to this years the UCI Track and Road World Championships to Apeldoorn/NL and Nottwil /CH. Besides the great pictures of sporting events, he delights his customers always with pictures from various photographic areas with his own artistic style. The picture editors of the National Geographic magazine, for example, in March 2014, selected one of his landscape/architecture images to the image of the day world wide and published it on the global web presence of the National Geographic Magazine. He is the author of technical reports, workshops and tutorials. The tutorials on his techniques and practices of HDR photography were published in specialized magazines, such as the „Pictures“ photography magazine. His images can be found in the press such as FAZ, the Focus and other daily media, as well as smaller, local print media. Some of his pictures were printed on the city buses of the City of Hamburg. In addition to this he contributes to big photo agencies such as „Getty Images“, with his pictures.
